Powder mountain cat skiing

Cat skiing , White Grizzly

If you’re on the hunt for legendary powder, steep tree runs, and a truly private backcountry experience, White Grizzly should be at the top of your list. Nestled in the remote Goat Range of British Columbia’s Selkirk Mountains, this hidden gem offers a cat skiing experience that’s raw, authentic, and wildly unforgettable.

More Than Just Alpine Turns

While many cat skiing Revelstoke and heli-skiing lodges focus on wide-open alpine bowls and mellow blue runs, White Grizzly is for those who crave something a little more intense. Think steep trees, chutes, drops, and playful terrain loaded with natural features and fluffy Kootenay Coldsmoke.

Our runs may start above the treeline (perfect for those bluebird days), but the real magic happens in the woods where you’re picking lines through tight trees and launching off soft pillows. It’s all the freedom of backcountry riding, with the added safety of experienced ACMG-certified guides.

Powder Mountain Cat Skiing Minus the Crowds

One of the most unique things about skiing at White Grizzly is the solitude. With only one snowcat running at a time, your group has exclusive access to our entire mountain playground. There’s no rush to claim first tracks they’re already yours.

Peak Season Powder

Operating from mid-December through early April, we offer three- and four-day cat ski packages during the best months of the winter season. You can expect six to nine runs per day, racking up an impressive 5,000 vertical metres (that’s over 16,000 feet!) daily.

Wondering about cat skiing cost? Our all-inclusive packages take the guesswork out. Every trip covers skiing, professional guiding, cozy lodge accommodation, chef-prepared meals, après snacks, and more. It’s the best way to experience the backcountry no compromises.

Conclusion

White Grizzly isn’t just another stop on the BC cat skiing map it’s a destination for riders who want more than just groomers and easy lines. Whether you're comparing options like Revelstoke cat skiing, Powder Mountain cat skiing, or planning your first backcountry trip, White Grizzly offers something different: raw terrain, deep powder, and a fully private mountain experience.
