The White Grizzly Cat Skiing Experience

If you dream about bottomless turns, untouched lines, and the kind of terrain that challenges even the most seasoned riders, then welcome to White Grizzly where tree skiing and steep terrain reign supreme. Tucked deep in British Columbia's Selkirk Mountains, this is not your average cat skiing operation. It's wild. It's raw. And it's everything you didn't know you needed.

The Terrain: Tree Skiing at Its Finest

While many cat and heli lodges focus on open alpine bowls and mellow bluebird runs, White Grizzly offers something different. Sure, we've got some above-treeline lines to warm up on, but our heart is in the woods amongst the steeps, the chutes, and those glorious Kootenay Coldsmoke powder pillows. It's steep skiing and tree skiing blended with creativity, control, and the joy of finding your own line… all within the safety of a guided experience.

Our private terrain lies in the remote Goat Range, a powder-filled gem in the Selkirk cat skiing zone. With a northeast-facing aspect, our terrain stays shaded and protected, holding onto that blower pow for longer. Combine that with being smack in the middle of one of North America's most consistent snow belts, and you've got near-perfect powder skiing BC conditions throughout the winter season.

The Ride Up: Your Snowcat Awaits

At White Grizzly, even the ride up is an experience. Our heated snowcat skiing cabins are built for comfort, with padded seats, Bluetooth speakers for your pump-up playlist, and plenty of storage for gear. We run one group at a time so when you ski here, it's just your crew and the mountain. And yes, we have a backup cat on standby because nothing should get in the way of your next powder run.

All-Inclusive Cat Skiing Packages

Running from mid-December through early April, our 3- and 4-day cat skiing Canada packages are designed for deep winter seekers. Expect to ski between six and nine runs a day roughly 5,000 vertical metres (or 16,500 feet) of untouched pow. Every trip includes your guided skiing, cozy accommodations, chef-prepared meals, snacks, après-ski, and more.

We're talking more than just skiing pow. We're talking about fully immersing yourself in a back country adventure with all the details taken care of.

Who's It For?

White Grizzly is tailor-made for advanced and expert skiers and snowboarders. You should be confident in deep powder, able to handle steep trees, and feel at home on resort double black diamond runs or black-rated pistes in Europe. If you've ever searched for cat skiing Fernie, Golden cat skiing, or even considered Nelson BC heli skiing, White Grizzly offers a uniquely raw and rewarding alternative.

Ready to Rip?

Come experience the best of cat skiing Canada in a place where it's just you, your crew, and a mountain full of untouched lines. Whether you're chasing face shots, pillows, or the perfect tree run, White Grizzly delivers. So pack your gear and your appetite for adventure because this isn't just skiing. This is steep, deep, wild freedom.
